No Jail Time for Al Ladner as Judge Orders Him Back to Rehab

A toronto judge ordered troubled professor Al Ladner back to rehab until January of 2011 in lieu of sending him back to jail for failing a mandatory drug test last month. The judge acknowledged that Ladner, 50'ish, has been in-and-out of court and rehab since a pair of high-profile arrests in 2007. He told the professor that he would not be manipulated by him, but was giving him a final chance to stay clean before adding that he would face jail time if he relapsed again.
